Usuzumi No Sakura', the pale grey cherry blossom, located in the mountains of Gifu, is considered to be one of the greatest and oldest cherry trees of Japan.
Chiyo Uno, a well-known poet from the 20th century wrote about it: "Cherry blossom is the flower of happiness. I love cherry blossom very much. It was in Showa 48th year when I had a fateful encounter with Usuzumi no Sakura in the Neo village of Gifu prefecture. At that time, the 1.500 years old tree was about to wither. I thought I wanted to see it in full bloom again.”
After that, Usuzumi No Sakura announced the spring in the mountains of Gifu. Chiyo Uno wrote the following verses: “Happiness is not something very special. It could be just like a cherry flower. Seeing the cherry blossom this year makes me happy."
This incense is made with petals and extract of cherry flowers, and like Usuzumi no Sakura, it emits unlimited tolerance and goodness.
This large box is ideal if you burn incense regularly. Its lovely design also makes it an original fragrant gift! Please note that the number of sticks is approximate and may vary depending on the batch.
