This large eye-catching ceramic bowl has a beautiful organic pattern on the rim to both the inside and outside. This is offset by a dark, almost jet black colouring and the entire piece is finished in a Tenmouko Glaze. Tenmoku takes its name from the Tianmu Mountain temple in China where iron-glazed bowls were used for tea. It has a special and often random quality.
This large bowl is perfect for ramen dishes but can also be used to serve large portions of sharing food such as salads, vegetables or meat.
It is 21.4cm in diameter and 8.2cm high.
