Rouge selected this delicately roasted Japanese Sencha tea for its unique umami flavours. Grown in the foothills of Mount Fuji this special Sencha tea delivers a wonderful experience best savoured with dorayaki, a sweet filled Japanese pancake.
This high grade Organic Sencha is rich in Umami flavour with nutty accents due to the light roasting process. The leaves were harvested at the end of July on the foothills of Mount Fuji. It can be gently steeped very quickly and is the perfect accompaniment to fish and rice-based dishes.

50g Loose leaf tea
Steep time: 1min
Water temperature: 80 degrees celsius
Dosage: 1tsp=150ml
