Natural, hand dyed indigo calico cotton scarf. 170cm x 38cm
Hand-made, plant-dyed natural calico cotton with pattern created through an ancient method that uses hand cut patterns with a resist soy bean and lime paste technique. Because of these natural processes, and ethical practices this product is a sustainable fashion item.
The front of the scarf has 'check' pattern and the back of the scarf has a beautiful indigo mottled texture so the scarf can be worn both ways for two different looks.
The calico cotton is soft but thick, which has a unique character. Over time the scarf will age like your favourite pair of selvedge jeans.
